HOW TO HELP FERAL CATS THIS WINTER

Homeless cats do not have easy lives.  They face the tough outdoor elements, have to hunt for food, dodge traffic, often get into fights with each other over territories, and they can reproduce often and at young ages.  The best way to help feral cats is with a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program to prevent colonies from reproducing rapidly.  Check out our Fried's TNR page, and please contact Fried's if you have any questions about this program.  We believe this is the MOST important step, and we work with community volunteers, but there are ways you can help!

Even feral cats living outdoors struggle during these cold winter months.  While there are heated cat houses that would keep kitties warm all winter, you can build your own cat house using totes and straw!  See the video below for instructions to create your own.
