Fascia "Funny Face" is a dsh, tortie female, born abt March 28, 2008.
Fascia, and her brother Kuno, were hand raised and bottle fed since they were four weeks old. Fascia is synonymous with face, and as you can see she has an adorable face. She's also known as Fussy Fascia because during the last few weeks of bottle feeding she would get fussy about taking the bottle, but yet wouldn't eat or drink from a bowl. She's going to probably always be on the long and lean side, to where Kuno would tend to fall more in the long and chunky side (he's my little pig).
Fascia is extremely playful and active. She will chew on fingers and can get a bit rough. At night if she is in bed with you, watch out...toes moving under the covers are fair game with both Fascia and Kuno, but, can be a bit more gentle there. She keeps up with every move your legs and feet make. Like with Kuno, I usually grab her and toss her under the covers with me to get her to settle down for the night. This works a little bit better with Kuno then Fascia, but it can work. Fascia is definitely becoming a Mama's girl. She will come looking for you when she wants her lovings, and she is know to jump on your chair, and if your back is showing, will jump halfway up then climb to your shoulder. Surprisingly...she's gentle about that! She also, when she's relaxed, will lay on her back in your arms for belly rubs. Or, she'll curl up in your arms with her head on your chest and sleep.
Both she and Kuno are learning that when the water bottle comes out they are to stop what they are doing or they will be squirted. That is especially necessary for when it comes to playing on the couch, and things hanging like curtains. Fascia is definitely into toilet paper and kleenex. You would definitely want to keep those up and out of reach. Both she and Kuno would be excellent mousers! If you have more questions about them just call the shelter and ask for me, Cyndi, since it is my home they've been living at. They are here at the shelter during our open hours so you can come by and meet them personally also.
Since Fascia and Kuno were hand-raised in a home environment, they are extremely close to each other (as you can tell by the second picture) and to the loving and caring touch of a person. Because of this I would like to see them stay together. To see them stay together, I am willing to do a two for one adoption fee for the new owner, and I will personally pay the second adoption fee.
